Bryan Heitz
Program Director
Bryan Heitz is the HOPE Program Director at CHJ, a program designed to assist LGBTQ identified individuals come out in a safe and healthy manner, connecting them to supportive services as needed. He is passionate about the power of community education, social justice, and harm reduction to elicit individual and social change in the most marginalized communities with an emphasis on LGBTQIA+ folks and People Living with HIV/AIDS. Prior to working with CHJ, Bryan has worked and created programming in the fields of HIV/STI Prevention and Testing, Sexual Health, Harm Reduction, Drug Use and Recovery, Mental Health, and Housing. He holds a B.S. in Psychological Science and Counseling and a Dual M.A. in Adult and Community Education and Executive Leadership for Public Service, both from Ball State University. In Bryan’s personal time, he focuses on scriptwriting, filmmaking, and experiencing as much live music and art as possible.
