Public Health Influencer
Luis Ochoa is a Public Health Influencer on the Growth & Wellness Innovation Project (GWIP) Program and is lead facilitator for the Taking Back Our Power (TBOP) Program at CHJ. Luis is a drag queen from East Los Angeles and, long-term, he aims to incorporate drag artistry into public health. He translates his lived experiences, particularly surrounding substance use and mental health, into compassion and understanding for the communities that CHJ serves. Luis graduated from the Michael Vincent Academy for Makeup Artistry and continues to utilize his makeup artistry skills through drag performance.
