Marissa Cameras

Program Director
Marissa Cameras is the Program Director of CHJ’s federally-funded SAMHSA interventions: Keeping it Sober (KIS) and Keeping it Safe but Sexy (KISS). Growing up as a Latina in downtown Los Angeles, Marissa has long realized that many within her community lack access to critical health resources. She aims to positively impact the lives of women within her community – especially those who are underserved – and feels fortunate to be providing services to women and girls impacted by incarceration through her work with CHJ. She spends her free time weightlifting, hiking, and taking road trips and has strong leadership, problem solving, and communication skills that she utilizes throughout her work. Marissa holds a B.A. from Cal State Northridge and a Master’s in Public Health from West Coast University.
