Osman Samayoa Castellanos
Education and Prevention Director
Osman J. Samayoa Castellanos has worked with CHJ for four years and is currently the Education and Prevention Director. Through this role, Osman oversees three CHJ programs that provide health education to incarcerated and recently released clients who identify as LGBTQIA+. He is passionate about providing quality health services to clients who have fallen through the cracks and feel misrepresented in the health care field. He relies on his skills in planning, implementing, and monitoring public health programs to fulfill CHJ’s mission and aims to one day influence Los Angeles County-level public health decisions. Osman holds a B.A. in Public Health from the University of California, Merced and is interested in photography and entomology.
